once you've read everything in the newbie packet and you've got your account made and your character thought out, this is where you come! don't forget to visit our wanted ads to see if any of those characters fit your fancy. in this board, you'll find the application format and also our canon list! please look at the canons as well! quote the application to get the code, fill it out, and post it in the pending applications board. please be patient with the staff. we'll review your application as soon as possible. need extra time? no problem! post your partially complete application in the work in progress board, where it can stay up to one week for you to complete it.

here's where you can find all the bios for accepted characters on nrfm. the characters are sorted by gender. please head to the claims right after your character is accepted! this is mandatory. you'll get in big trouble if i catch you without your claims filled out. claims up to date = happy maggie. now that your character is accepted, go ahead and start plotting, roleplaying, and playing games!

yeah, i know, it sucks and is boring, but please just head on over here right after your character is accepted and fill out all your claims. seriously. nothing is more irritating to me than people who won't take the thirty seconds to fill out their claims, and it saves staff a lot of grief later on. and if you don't claim your faces, it means they're open to anyone else and your character is subject to losing its playby, so i would consider filling out your claims. kaythanks.

oh, plotting. how much we love plotting. in here, you'll find all of our members with their characters, searching for plots with other characters! this is a great way to get your roleplaying experience started, so don't be shy when it comes to getting in here and posting in everyone's shipper. one thread per member, please.

looking for the second half to your character? a lover? a hater? a friend? hoping to create a character with a plot already made for him or her? if you want to request or play a specific character, here's where you come! post in here on the character's account that ad involves. you may only bump once every week. bumping is not mandatory, but your ad will be deleted if your character goes inactive. once your ad is taken and the character has successfully been made and accepted, post a [C] in front of the thread title so that staff can move it to the completed board.

this lovely board right here is for all the rapid fire roleplay threads. this means there is no word count so you can post under three hundred words here. we prefer you keep mini threads for insignificant things and small moments you'd like to roleplay - don't start relying on them for everything, or this board will be taken away. you may not have more than two minis at a time.

have a moment in the past you want to re-live? looking for a place to roleplay out things you can't wait for in the future? here's your board! in this board, you can write about things either in the past or future of your characters. please keep in mind it is a threading board - if you have a solo thread from the past of your character, it goes in the solo threads board, not in this board! this board is for active threading only.

have a knack for graphics? need someone to make you some pretty pictures? come on in here! members, you can put up threads showcasing your creative talents and other members can request graphics as well. we have this board so you guys never have to stress about finding good graphics.

just to start off, i want to make sure this stays in character games only. if you want to have out of character games, feel free to post them in the chitchat board! in here, you'll find any games you can play in character! feel free to start new games or play on ones already made. there should be instructions on how to play the game at the top of the thread. enjoy! please make sure you're not spending all of your time in the games and you spend plenty roleplaying as well!

going on vacation? super uber busy? grounded? this is the place to go! we really appreciate it if you let us know if you're not going to be around as often so that we know why you're missing. we don't want to worry about you and having to wonder if you'll come back ever and be active again. it makes our lives a little easier! just post a thread describing your situation briefly. please include a full list of your characters in every post and please make a new thread for each absence notice. things get disorganized if some users post in the same thread every time they'll be gone and some make a new thread every time, so we're sticking with the latter.

all those dead threads will come in here! we keep archives for later reference or even reminiscing. everyone loves to read that old amazing thread from a few months back and your last otp <3
