this here is eric tobias donaldson. he is a newbie to town and he probably wont be staying for very long. see eric here, also known as ric, is a marine. he has spent the last year and a half across seas fighting in the war. however, he was given leave when there was word that his two year old son was dead. no one will tell him how his son died or where the mother is and that's why ric is here. this is where her parents live and he is sure that he will be back to find her by coming here. even if they wont speak, he knows she will come home at some point. to be honest, all ric wants is the truth, he wants to know what happened to his son and why his ex refuses to speak with him. he has heard words that she was driving drunk and she crashed and the baby died, he has also heard that the baby died in its sleep, he has even heard that the baby was sick and she did nothing to care for it. he doesn't care about the stories and the lies, he only wants the truth. currently he is staying in a hotel that his recruiter is paying for, however if he ends up sticking around for to long he might have to move in with his friend or get a place of his own. he has been to this part of maryland before, seeing as his ex was born here, so he knows a few people. hes not a local but hes also not a new face for many people around town. as if the loss of his son wasn't enough, he is having night terrors from the war.
