so this is jaxton, more commonly known as jax. he's seventeen, a junior, a reject, and a stoner. he is unpredictable, a bit obsessive, and a complete mess. during his sophomore year of high school, his long-term girlfriend, lily, died from a drug overdose. jax blamed himself for the whole thing, and still does to this day. he spends most of his time getting high, drinking, or being reckless, mostly because he hasn't had an ounce of respect for himself ever since her death. now, just because he has some emotional issues doesn't mean he's a downer. quite the opposite, actually. jax can definitely be fun, especially because he loves being spontaneous and adventurous. he is all about stepping out of his comfort zone, sometimes dragging his friends along with him in the process. he is also really passionate about music and writing. he loves his acoustic guitar and he always carries a little notebook in his pocket just in case he gets randomly inspired. some of jax's favorite past times are petting cats, watching stars, jumping on trampolines, and watching spongebob every single morning of his life. so, now onto the relationships! as for friends, jax would have plenty because he is a fun-loving guy. there's definitely not a dull moment when he is around; he's all about having a good time. he would definitely get along with people from any clique, but especially stoners and band geeks. he might have a few enemies, because he tends to speak his mind without thinking about the consequences. he can be a real asshole - he's not afraid to say what he thinks, even if it might be blatantly rude. he's not going to pretend he likes someone. he's not the kind of guy to fabricate emotions. as for lovers, i really would love to have a good plot for him. he's straight, so i think it would be interesting for him to begin to develop feelings for a girl that he's close friends with. he hasn't had any feelings for any girl ever since lily died, and he would freak out and be totally scared out of his mind. also, he is a hopeless romantic. that's it!

introducing my new character, brennan ryder hudson! otherwise known as bren. he's seventeen and a jock, soccer being his sport of choice. brennan here is a bit full of himself. he takes a lot of pride in being part of the popular crowd, spending most of his time socializing, partying, hitting on girls, or playing soccer. he's got rich parents and an entirely empty home life; his parents are never around, and he barely helps take care of his younger siblings. so brennan never really did learn much when it came to love and healthy relationships and whatnot. which has resulted in him earning the reputation of being quite the manwhore at school. he hooks up with girls whenever possible, sweet-talking them into getting what he wants. he leads girls on constantly, and he drops them if they won't let him get past first base. he's one of those guys that only wants one thing. he's never had a real relationship; he's never actually dated a girl, never been in love. he doesn't know how, and he doesn't necessarily believe in love. as for friends, he'd have a lot of popular friends, especially jocks and cheerleaders. he loves being seen with other popular kids, because, let's face it, brennan is a little obsessed with his image. he loves to party and is very sarcastic and funny. as for enemies, rejects would work, since brennan would not associate with any of them. perhaps he could have ex-friends who knew him before he got too cool to be seen with him. girls who he's hooked up with and then never called will probably hate him too. as for lovers, brennan doesn't need anything serious. he's going to be involved with nova's character, vienna, eventually, but he's a manwhore, so he's gonna need a LOT of girls to flirt with or hook up with. he's a ladies man!

• syd - syd is a band geek but she's a but...obnoxious sometimes. she loves giving people hell, but luckily she finds jax attractive. most people from her exterior, assume she's this cute innocent freshman who is sweet, but she isn't. i think she'd enjoy jax like an older brother. so she might have a cutesy kindergarten crush but it'll go away and she'll look up to him and enjoy his spontaneousness. and she's so loyal and kind to people she actually likes.
  
• koda - friends because koda likes having friends who are similar to him around. koda's quite stubborn, sarcastic, and a pompous ass, but he gets along better with people similar to him to be quite honest. but he's not that bad when you get used to him. i think they'll grind gears at first but end up becoming closer. ^.^

SYD + JAX

they should like the perfect duo. music is incredibly important to jax, and is quite possible the only thing he takes seriously, so he would enjoy being close with someone who could understand that. the moment jax began to find her interesting was the moment he realized she was exactly the opposite of what her appearance seems to portray; that is what jax finds most intriguing about syd, and that is what causes him to be drawn to her. he would definitely view her as a younger sister as well, being very protective of her and immediately growing irate with anyone who has anything negative to say concerning her. a few times jax has sensed that she might have a small crush on him, and the thought is flattering to jax but also unsettling considering his current situation in the love department. however, that won't ever stand in the way of their friendship.

KODA + JAX

they sound like incredibly similar guys, so i think they most definitely would get along once they got used to each other. it can be annoying at times being friends with someone who is too similar, so i can see how they could irritate each other a bit in the beginning. jax certainly wouldn't be afraid of hurting koda's feelings - he would rudely let koda know that he bothered the shit out of him and there was no way they could ever be friends. of course, jax would get over that once he realizes how awesome they could be as good friends. they could definitely be the sarcastic assholes who walk around town together like they just own the place.

what do a stoner and cheerleader have in common? absolutely nothing. that's why naya doesn't dare speak about the days when they were both freshman and she sort of had a crush on him. back in her nice girl days, they were friends. not great friends, but the kinda that could hold a pretty good conversation in class. but then things changed after some unfortunate events happened in her life when she tried to grow up a little too fast. they don't talk at all these days and they pretty much pretend like they never met, but sometimes naya wishes things were different. she thinks he's a good kid.

i like it. jax remembers those days. the days when naya would smile at him from across the classroom when he caught her eyes, the days when they would even text a bit frequently outside of school. she was nice to him and pretty, and he noticed when she glanced at him when she thought he wasn't looking. he glanced back. her little crush that she thought was overlooked was more to jax; he started to develop his own little crush on the nice girl from his english class. however, things changed. nothing happen. they drifted. now, they never acknowledged each other. no more smiles or waves or friendly hellos. whenever jax sees her it as if they never even knew each other. it makes jax sad, really. sometimes he thinks about speaking to her. then he remembers he's nothing on the social scale and she's a cheerleader. he wishes things were different but he will just never be one of those popular guys, and never good enough for her.

CHASE + JAX

i was thinking the same EXACT THING and it is 4 am for me too but i don't care because it would be the sweetest thing ever and their whole friendship just makes me go awh and it only just started today and jax is flirting with her a lot and GAHHHH WE SHOULD DO IT

OMG THAT SO BRINGS AN IDEA TO MIND THEN. like, what if all this counseling talk that he is giving to chase kind of sparks something. the feelings could have been building up for a while, on both of their parts, and they have always just chocked it up to their friendly affection and fondness. then all of chase's sadness drives jax to want to make her happy and he slowly begins to realize how much he cares for and how much that scares him. so while he cares for her he is still too scared of his feelings to admit it?

YES THATS PERFECT. it would drive him crazy to have chase being sad all the time, he would feel like it was his job to make her happy, but then he'd start realizing that he feels more for her than he thought. and it scares him, and he'd probably avoid talking to her for a few days because he isn't used to keeping things from her. and he doesn't even want to admit it to himself that he has feelings for her. so him ignoring her would really upset her and he would probably end up just making the first move the next time he sees her without even a warning because jax is unpredictable and doesn't think anything through and just does whatever he wants. which would probably be getting really angry at chase for no reason when he was the one ignoring her in the first place... and then kissing her out of nowhere... OR SOMETHING. my mind is everywhere but i love them so much<3

I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW MUCH I LOVE THAT. ajskfbsdjkfs it is all so perfect. chase is kind of obedient but also defiant. meaning that she kind of does as she pleases and can understand where jax comes from with doing whatever he wants. but the whole kissing her thing would just blow her mind and she would be sooooooo like "WOOOOAH." it would just be cute and now i cannot wait for all of this happen. i see an otp forming. <333

Alright; Anthony is also a reject, only he is a loner. However, due to his personality I think maybe they could actually get along. Anthony drinks and smokes, he likes to live on the edge and have as much fun as possible. He just got out of the Juvenile Center a while ago so he can't do anything to crazy, but they could always find something fun to do. Anthony wouldn't ask nor judge the entire Lily incident, not sure if he would even know it happened. Um, what else, yeah that's him, I just think they would actually make a nice pair of friends; maybe not the closest of friends, but just the kind to occasionally hang out.

BRENNAN & ANTHONY

Hate. That pretty much sums it up. The fact that the kid is a man-whore, popular obsessed type of guy would just cause Anthony to think he is a waste of space in this world. The boy was raised in Brooklyn until he as thirteen so he knows how to defend himself and he is not afraid of the Royals and populars running the school. He actually got into a fight with one -which is why he ended up at the center. So yes, I am thinking hate, If Brennan acts like a brat, then Anthony would give him a cold shoulder, not that Brennan would mind I am assuming but if they bump into each other I doubt they would act nicely towards eachother.

I like it! I think they would make an interesting pair of friends. Jax wouldn't pressure him into doing too much, having just gotten out of juvie and everything, but they could drink or smoke or just hang out together. Jax is a chill kind of guy. I think it would be interesting to have the two of them be pretty good friends, and then have the whole Ricky thing play out. It would be awkward for them afterward but Jax isn't too stubborn and would be willing to try to be friends despite the tension in the whole situation... if Anthony was willing to do the same.

ANTHONY + BREN

Brennan is definitely a brat and a self-absorbed kinda guy, so I can see how he would get on Anthony's nerves. Brennan would not be interested in being friends, since he only likes to hang out with the popular crowd. Brennan heard about the fight between Anthony and a popular kid awhile back, and because of that fight Brennan just doesn't like Anthony at all. If he ever ran into Anthony in the hall he would certainly throw him a dirty look. These two are just too different and clash too much. They don't really know each other, but what they do know makes them hate the other.
