Perry stuck his head out of his office as one chef ranted about how the customers are being so extremely rude because of their food wasn't cooked right and he was trying endlessly to do what they were telling him. He nodded as he listened tentively to him and then got up from the chair. He followed the chef out to the main part of the restaurant. The customers that was complaining was a group of businessmen. He reassurred them that the cook was trying his best and if they feel the food isn't good enough then they don't have to pay for it its on him. That made them calm down. Another cook came in and luckily they helped the chef out. Three hours had passed after that confrontation. As " How Far We Come" by Mad Season had drew to a close on Perry's restaurant's stereo (he had played today's music on there to give it a nice friendly atmosphere and of course Italian music too), he helped clean up the tables and the counter. He didn't have to but he wanted to at least help. He knew Koda would be heading his way to there since its almost closing time. But if there were some more customers who want a last minute eat, they are in luck cause the chefs are not leaving yet. He looked up to see a woman walk in with her family-three girls, a boy, and her husband. He smiled at her and his hostess approached them, greeting them. Perry headed to the back to get some more paper towels and then when he came out and wiped down the counter he looked to his left and smiled as a familiar figure walked in. OOC: Woot

Koda always took the bus around town. He didn't have money in his pockets ever. He always had to borrow things. Maybe he could find a job somewhere one of these days. Being the complete mess he was, no one would hire them. At least he had a nice dinner offered to him by Perry. He smiled at the thought. It was relacing and very helpful to have a friend like Perry around. He was a loca sure, but that didn't mean Koda couldn't spend time with him. He did help out Koda with the many problems he had, trying to give his best advice and he even fed the boy on occasion. The fact that he happened to be attractive was only a plus and Koda stared a bit, but it definitely wouldn't get further than that because there was an obvious age difference and he was sure Perry didn't even see him attractive or even think things like that could happen between him and Koda.
The bus rides were always a tad bit uncomfortable for Koda. The strangers weren't really his type to mingle around. The bus rides were awfully boring unless he happened to be drunk at the time, but not today. He was rather excited to see Perry today. Getting off the bus, he only had to walk a block or two before he reached Fresco's Italian. To be honest, he couldn't believe he was close friends with the owner. Well, by now he was used to being friends with Perry but not Perry the restaurant owner.
He walked through the doors, spotting Perry right away cleaning the counter to keep his restaurant tidy. Of course, as any own would do. Walking over to him, Koda flashed the rare one-sided Koda Pierce grin. Well it wasn't always uncommon, sometimes it was frequent. Now, in his gloomier days, it was quite rare, though.
Perry, hi! his blue eyes quite brighter than usual today.Uhm, thanks again, for feeding me and stuff. I actually appreciate it a lot. His hands were stuffed in his pockets. Uhm, so yeah. What's for dinner? [/div]

As he was wiping down the tables, he heard the familiar voice greeting him and so he turned fully towards Koda. He had met him when the poor guy was walking by the restaurant one day with no money in his pockets. Perry had just helped open the restaurant that day and as he was about to head to his office, he spotted him trying to find his money in his pockets. When he had none, Perry's heart sank and so he helped him out that day. At first Koda didn't know he was the owner. He had thought Perry was a customer but then one day he found out when Perry was talking to the staff about some changes in the shifts.
So that was pretty much a surprise but then again its not like he's not a nice guy because he is. He liked helping others. Even after he finally had his dream come true but he had to work for it because you can't just own a restaurant over night. "Hey Koda!" he exclaimed to the kid. Too bad the age difference, he was pretty darn handsome and if Perry was his age he wouldn't just be a friend. Though it could be like that if both were drunk. However he didn't think that right now but what he would serve the kid for dinner. The special for today was lasagna. First he gave him a hug and then a pat on the back, "good to see you!" he pulled away and then grinned. "And no problem! Can't have you walk home with an empty stomach. That wouldn't be good, right?" of course who wouldn't help this kid? He seemed like a nice kid.
As he asked about dinner, Perry's grin widened. "Well we have a special for today. Do you like lasagna? If not we still have some pizza from lunch in the fridge. All we need to do is to get it heated and then you're set. Hell I'm going to grab myself some of the lasagna too. If you're having it I'll have it with you. And want anything to drink? Soda? Water?" should he add wine? Ah add it. Maybe the kid drinks that too. "Wine?" he had to ask because heck that's what the waiters and waitresses asks too!

Koda smiled seeing Perry wiping down the tables. Perry the restaurant owner was undeiably cute. Of course so was Perry the friend, but it was nice to see him in action, wiping down tables, and caring for his own restuarant. Koda couldn't help but scan over his structured body. This guy had been surprisingly generous towards Koda. His blue eyes, much happier than usual. Perry was a friend, a role model for the kid to look up to. Rarely had he ever been able to just hang around with someone this summer. And although Perry wasn't his age, he had been there for Koda, willing to give him any sort of advice.
The hug, letting Perry take Koda into his arms, it was comforting. He can't remember the last time gave someone a hug while being sober. He could feel Perry's body, more muscular than it looked from a distance. The first time they met, Koda was completely impressed by the kindness Perry had show the boy. Maybe that's why he had this crush on him. Koda was completely aware of his fawning over the own of Fresco's Italian. It was odd to say he was friends with the owner. Not many people even knew. Perry did get him free dinner sometimes, but it was only for the reason that Koda was broke because he was kicked out of his own house. And he was ashamed that his parents didn't seem like him...at all.
Almost a bit saddened that the hug was over, their arms departed and their bodies grew space in between. His grin paralleled with Perry's. No, lasagna sounds fine. i don't think I've had your lasagna yet so I bet it's amazing like the rest of the food. That sounds great. I'd look like a loser eating alone. He smiled. Throwing out compliments to the chef was always a pleasure. He was almost puzzled by Perry's next comments. He was going to answer a Dr. Pepper if he had any, but suddenly Perry had offered wine. And Perry knew that Koda was udnerage, but if he offered it, Koda wouldn't going to deny it. Wine, you say? I don't think I can pass that up. He flashed a smile at Perry, his blue eyes quite bright today. So where do you wanna sit?

"Well then its set I would be happy to accompany you on your dinner. Hell I want to get some of that lasagna myself." He really liked when the cook cooked it though it was actually Perry's recipe. He had named it Scott's Lasagna after of course his family since it was his mother who taught him it though the way the chef cooked it was amazing. He might even name it after the chef himself though. He has plans to do that. Of course when he offered wine, he didn't try to get the kid drunk on purpose. Its just that whenever you have something Italian usually it is with wine but if he wanted soda instead he'd so get some soda!
"Great because I have kick ass wine that would definately taste good with it. I know, I myself tried it out a night ago and, wow. I mean complete wow. I think its Italian wine too." Perry looked around for the right table for the two to sit. "Hm," he said as he thought out loud.
His blue eyes scanned the room and then hit upon a table at the far left, near the wall itself. The one in the middle seemed perfect. There's two chairs across from each other, the chairs still pushed in. Its also not that far off from the kitchen and of course the restrooms too and its actually perfect to have the dinner. Perry tilted his head towards the table, as he still had his eyes locked on it. "How about that table right there?"
