STUDENT/TEACHER RELATIONS
Hey, guys! So, I was hoping I wasn't going to have to post something about this, but it's getting a little out of hand. We've been having increasingly large amounts of student/teacher funkiness happening. Now, let's get this straight, I'm all into Aria/Ezra plots, and two of my OTPs come from student/teacher something (though they're not anymore). However, we just have toooooo much going on. So I'm going to cut it off here - I don't want any more student teacher relations than have already been plotted. I mean, come on, guys. This is a high-end prep academy. It's not going to be infiltrated with teachers who are constantly seducing and sleeping with students. The teachers at Manchester have the highest recommendations and experience. It's just not realistic that we keep having these teacher/student affairs, relationships, whatever you want to call it.
That includes flings! No more teachers sleeping with students, unless you want your teacher to be fired. That brings me to another point - we will soon be having character evaluations, for Preps and Teachers. Staff feels for several reasons that we need to have a look at the characters we have and narrow them down because they don't seem to be in the correct clique. I urge you to have an open mind going into character evals and if you have a prep that doesn't fit the description of prep, or a teacher that's always drunk, sleeping with students, or making a bad example of themselves, please expect staff to be talking privately with you about whether or not your character is in the correct clique.
I know this is a roleplay world and I encourage creativity, but my job is also to keep the plot realistic, and having a holy shitload of student/teacher relations at a high end academy is just not realistic. I mean, you see these relationships like once a YEAR on television. They are not that common!
Once again, if you have already plotted something with another member on their shipping page involving student/teacher relations, you can continue with that plot, but no more.
Love you guys,
Staffers
