Austen closed his bedroom door behind him and then threw himself haphazardly onto his bed, sending a pillow accidentally flying off. He made no move to retrieve it, instead digging in his pocket to retrieve his cell phone. When he finally found it, he went through his favorites to find Bentley's number and call it. After a few rings, he heard the phone click on, and he said, "Bennie!" His smile was evident in his tone. "Thought I'd give you a call since it's been like forty years since we last talked." He was exaggerating, of course, but that didn't mean he missed her any less. Plus, he still hadn't talked to her about Britton.

Bentley was meditating, or at least trying to in her room with the lights out but after a couple of failed attempts and her mother forcing her to partake in family pizza night she forgot all about it. When she was finally excused to her room she attempted to meditate again but was interrupted, this time by her phone ringing to the too "I wanna be loved by you" by Marilyn Monroe which was a custom ring for her best friend Austen. "Aussie! It really has been too long my dear. I was beginning to think you died or something." Bentley exaggerated with a huge smile nonetheless.

Austen couldn't help but laugh at his dramatic friend. He knew she had a pet peeve about Sebastian Stan, and he humored it because it was funny. It was a part of their friendly banter. "Damn it! What kind of fetish is that, anyway?" He laughed for a second, and then got a bit more serious. "Actually, something kind of juicy happened..." he paused as if debating if he should tell her or not (which wasn't the case at all, seeing as they didn't like secrets.) "I met a girl."

"Oh definitely, I wouldn't know what to do with myself." Bentley said half-serious and grabbing a pillow pal for her to hold on to while she was on the phone with her best buddy. "I was going to write a angry letter to Sebastian Stan's people. Did you know he's playing yet ANOTHER gay son to someone powerful on Political Animals?" Bentley sighed dramatically but moved along the conversation. "What about you? Give me all the deets."

Bentley couldn't deal with Sebastian anymore, she was over him and his roles as being gay or a drug addict. When Austen mentioned he had juicy news she immediately zoned in and when he said he met a girl she screamed in happiness. "Ohhhh, that IS juicy news. Tell me everything, what's her name? Does she go to Manchester?" Bentley immediately grabbed her nail filer, this will be good.

"Her name is Britton Rook," Austen replied, her image coming easily to his mind. He wasn't sure if Bentley would know her by her name, so he had to bring up the juiciest bit, "You might better know her as the 'brain tumor girl.' Because she has one. A brain tumor, I mean." He took a deep breath, letting it out slowly. Austen didn't often think about that part, because it was obviously a touchy topic. He knew Bennie wouldn't make a big deal about it. Or, at least, he hoped she wouldn't. "She goes to Manchester, but she missed last year because of...yeah."

Bentley listened as Austen described her, it was so touching. Bentley would probably want to just pass away if she had a brain tumor, it was a serious thing! "Aww well I think that's great Austen", Bentley said taking the dramatic tone out of her voice for a much sweeter and soft spoken voice. "I'll have to meet her. I love her name by the way." Bentley... Britton... she loved crazy names.

Bentley knew how to make things seem less dire, and she didn't miss a beat when he told her of Britton's tumor. It was one of the things he loved about Bentley. "I'm sure you'll get to meet her eventually. She's cool." He smiled, and added, "And so is her name." Austen sat up on his bed suddenly and changed the subject. "And that's all for you? Dealing with that pesky Sebastian Stan? There's nothing else?"

Bentley smiled into the phone at her friend. She thought that it was amazing that he was with someone like that. "Well I better get to meet the chick who is taking my bestie." Bentley curled her blond hair around her finger. "Ohhh! I'm thinking about going to New York City for the winter break. Want to come?"
