life
her parents come from a broad family tree planted in hasidic soil but while it may be hard to believe, noa's family is the least religious out of the numerous aunts and uncles they have stationed up in israel. none the less her family still practices traditions with an orthodox touch; they keep shabbat (meaning no parties on friday night) and go to synagogue every saturday morning. inside the house they speak hebrew (seeing as both noa's grandparents are israeli respectably) so noa grew up speaking both english and the language from the land of milk and honey. in fact, every year her parents claim that they're moving back to israel in order to be closer to god and extended family and even go so far as to pack their bags, only to make excuses to stay at the last minute. noa's grown to expect it. other than that, she's had a pretty normal childhood. she spent summers at her cousins' farm and watched her older brother, avi, grow up and move to england in order to study abroad. she, herself, has always been interested in business and the visual arts, and that's why it was ultimately her decision to leave the (low quality) public school she was in and move to manchester in order to attend better classes more suited to her interests. she's in it for the academics which means she's not too thrilled about starting over with her social life, but it's the right thing to do for her future!
