don't know what you need , Drew would've given an arm and a leg to have someone with him today at this moment. He had no clue what he was doing and desperately needed a girl friend with him for some sort of guidance. He was trying to find a gift for his younger sister because her birthday was coming up, and he wanted to get her something nice. He figured girls like clothes so why not get her a shirt or something? That would be easy, he thought. He found out what her favorite store was a few days ago and decided today would be the perfect time to look for a gift. Except now, he began to realize just how hard it was to shop for his sister. Drew had already texted and called multiple friends for assistance, but they either didn't pick up, or weren't able to come help him unfortunately. He sighed as he sifted through a shirt rack. A lot of items he saw he wasn't sure he wanted to buy his baby sis because one, they were too revealing, two, he didn't think she would like them, or three, he just didn't want his little sister wearing them. "What size does she even wear?" he asked himself exasperatedly. He shook his head in frustration, running a hand through his hair as he held up a skirt. Well, at least he thought it was a skirt.
After putting the skirt thing back, he paced himself throughout the store picking through the apparel carefully looking over everything. He was lucky enough that an employee saw him slowly struggling and was at least able to help him with a size. "I'd go with a medium," the blonde had told him after he finished explaining a rough estimate of his sister's height and width. After that she walked away to greet more customers and let them know about the sales they had going on and not to forget to take a look at their new merchandise.
"This is hopeless. Maybe I should just get her a gift card and she can buy her own crap," Drew said to himself throwing a t-shirt back on top of a pile. It wouldn't be so hard if it wasn't his sister. Any other girl he'd be glad to pick out clothes for them, but he was a guy. Which was exactly why he didn't want his sister wearing what he saw--as a protective older brother--as inappropriate. Call him a bit hypocritical, but he just couldn't buy her clothing. Then it would make her think it was okay to dress that way. Yes, he was probably over thinking the matter way too thoroughly and could probably just get her some nice t-shirts and leave, but it wasn't that easy. He loved his sis very much and wanted to get her something special. Why he thought clothing would be easiest, he couldn't even begin to explain, but he was here now so he might as well figure something out.
Drew checked his phone. He had been in the store for an hour now and was still empty handed. "Maybe I should get her something else." But what? He thought as he scratched the back of his neck.

[style=background-color: #ffffff; text-align: center; font-family: arial; font-size: 9px; height: 50px;] NOTES RUSTY WITH THEO, SRY IT'LL GET BETTER PROMISE
[/style] Vince was bored. Mind-numbingly, painstakingly bored. Frankly, he was pretty pissed by how bored he was too. In the past few weeks, if he’d been bored he would have just called up Bea. She always made him stop being so lazy and always had exciting ideas of stuff for them to do together. But things were tense between them. She hated his friends and he hated hers and neither of them were the type to just let things be so of course it lead to a huge screaming match that ended with Bea storming out and refusing to answer his calls. Well fuck her. The fact that he had tried to defend her and protect her from his significantly more popular friend group only pissed him off more. That was what he got for trying to be the ‘boyfriend’ type. It was time to go back to playing the field and hurting girls he didn’t have the energy to fight with. Not that other girls were bold enough to fight with him.
And thus it was with this petulantly sour attitude that Vince found himself wandering around the mall, aimlessly hoping to run into a friend or two. Part of him wished he’d run into someone lower than him on the food chain, someone he could mess around with a little bit. It was just one of those days. He felt like a predator and needed to let out some rage. Flirting with useless cheerleaders kept him occupied outside the smoothie shop for a good twenty minutes, but surprisingly it didn’t take the edge off of his restless temper. It had been a long time since he’d really had it out with anyone and sometimes Vince though throwing punches was the only thing that kept him sane. He shook his head and abandoned the cheerleaders to continue wandering around the mall, his eyes carefully flickering through the crowd.
Suddenly a recognizable face became clear through a glass window into a store. Was that Drew Ross standing in the women’s section of a clothing store? Vince smirked. It was like the fates had planned it themselves. He sauntered into the store, taking his time to scope out the area before walking up to Drew confidently and leaning against a column behind the young man. He wondered how long he it would take for the boy to stop talking to himself and realize that someone was behind him. Eventually, he got bored. ”Finally considering switching genders, Ross? I can’t say I’m surprised, but don’t expect that much to change. People will still think you’re ugly as fuck.” Vince usually had to be baited into turning into a flat out ass, but today he really wasn’t holding back, and Ross had always gotten on his nerves. The other boy didn’t know his place at Manchester, and it pissed Vince off to no end. A fucking nerd, for gods sake, standing up to him. He smirked cockily and raised an eyebrow, ”Or, from the sounds of it, you’re buying a gift for some girl. I hate to break it to you, but even buying some bitches affection isn’t gonna work for you my friend.”

don't know what you need , As Drew stood there frustratedly, he could almost feel someone watching him. Before he got the chance to look and see he heard a familiar voice. ”Finally considering switching genders, Ross? I can’t say I’m surprised, but don’t expect that much to change. People will still think you’re ugly as fuck.” He was instantly annoyed. Drew turned around. Of course he would run into Vince here. Not that he cared. All Vince was looking for was a punching bag, Drew knew that. He wanted him to get upset and hurt and go crying to his mommy, but this nerd was not the type to do so, and that was partially why Vince probably disliked him so much, besides the fact that this guy was higher up than Drew at school (not that it mattered much to him, it obviously matter to Vince Sterling).
Andrew let out a laugh and smirked at Vince. "That's a good one. Has anyone ever told you how hilarious you are Theodore?" the boy said. He knew the guy didn't like being called this, but he didn't much care. Drew wasn't in the mood to put up with him today, and quite frankly, messing with him just felt like a great idea to Andrew at the moment. Unlike most kids, Drew wasn't afraid to stand up for himself against the popular crowd. so they were higher up in the food chain, big deal. Soon they'd get out in the real world and see that nobody cares about what you were like in high school. Dumb asses.
The brown-eyed boy stood there and replayed Vince's words over in his head for a minute. He was surprised. He wasn't usually such a dick right away. Something had to have set him off and now he was looking for someone to prey on, someone to slap around a bit. Unfortunately, he found Drew. ”Or, from the sounds of it, you’re buying a gift for some girl. I hate to break it to you, but even buying some bitches affection isn’t gonna work for you my friend.” Man he was really looking for someone to mess around with. "I don't need to buy affection, girls just like me because I'm a nice guy. But if you'd like to know, it's a birthday gift for my sister, not that you care," Drew informed him. He turned his attention back to the shirts for a short moment and decided he'd just go for the gift card. Yeah, it wasn't as "thoughtful" so to say, but it worked. Plus it would get him away from Vince and his cocky, douche bag attitude. "Hey, I hate to break it to you, but I'm not really in the mood for this whole back and forth thing you seem to be looking for, so it was well, hmm... not exactly nice talking to you, but I gotta go," he told Sterling, giving him a quick wave goodbye and headed to the cash register where they kept the gift cards.
He glanced back at him, hoping he would just leave him alone. He knew how Vince was though, and he wasn't gonna let him go until he got what he wanted. Usually, Drew would enjoy bantering with the kid, it was fun to tick him off. That was mostly why Vince hated him so much: because he gave it back to him. He didn't act like some poor, defenseless nerd like the popular kid wanted him too, and it was obvious it pissed him off. Drew could tell. Anyone with eyes could tell. But it went both ways. Vince annoyed Drew. He was cocky and arrogant. He knew his place and wanted Drew to figure out what his was and stay there, but they both knew that wasn't going to happen. Poor guy.
When Andrew came to the cashier, he told her he just need a thirty dollar gift card. She rang him up, but it felt like she was taking forever. Not that it mattered. Vince was going to keep adding gas to the fire that was slowly rising within Drew until he broke. He handed the girl the money with a smile and thanked her as she finally handed him the card.

[style=background-color: #ffffff; text-align: center; font-family: arial; font-size: 9px; height: 50px;] NOTES HES SUCH A TOOL
[/style] The frustrating thing about Drew Ross was that he didn’t pout and cry like other nerds. He actually had a backbone, which irritated Vince to no end. What gave him the right to act so damn confident all the time? Vince had the cars, the money, the political connections, the girls, the title of baseball team caption. Everyone bowed out of his way except for Drew, which only made him want to punch him more. Vince crossed his arms, raising an eyebrow as the other man turned around to face him, smirking confidently. ”I don’t need to buy affection, girls just like me because I’m a nice guy. But if you’d like to know, it’s a birthday gift for my sister, not that you care.” Vince laughed out loud as Drew turned back around. ”Your sister, huh? How old is she these days? Turning sixteen right? God, that’s such a perfect age… Vince bit his lip as he shook his head absently. He bounded forward, plucking a low cut top off of the rack and waving in front of Drew in mock assistance. ”You know what, I think this would be perfect. Her tits are getting pretty big these days, she needs more tops that show them off. You know, it’s too bad for you that she took all the attractive genes in your family… but lucky for me I guess.” Vince gave Drew his most endearing style—really the other boy was lucky that he had latched onto talking about his little sister rather than putting his head through a column for calling him Theo. Theo was not his name.
”Hey, I hate to break it to you, but I’m not really int the mood for this whole back and forth thing you seem to be looking for, so it was well, hmm… not exactly nice talking to you, but I gotta go.” Vince was unfazed. He didn’t really give a fuck what Drew wanted from his afternoon at the mall, to be perfectly honest. The only thing that would make this situation better would be a gaggle of his friends watching the interaction, egging him on as was the norm, but that was okay. He could entertain himself. He followed Drew easily, matching his strides with grace, ”You know, while we’re on the subject of your sister, do you think you’d mind giving me her number? I hear she’s been looking to hang out with a jock and well, my latest fuck isn’t really working out. Now that little sis is sixteen…” It was pretty cruel of Vince, actually, to talk about someone’s sister like that. Especially with the extreme length that the young man himself went through to keep his sister pure and innocent, no matter how much she tried to weasel her way into the popular crowd. Just this weekend, in fact, Rosemary was sitting at home because Vince had deliberately ensured that she was grounded so she couldn’t attend a huge rager that was being planned.
They reached the counter. Vince still had the revealing shirt in his hand as he leaned languidly against the counter, his elbows resting back against it despite the annoyed glare from the check out girl, right next to the one that was ringing Drew up. ”Really, Drew, a gift card. How tacky. People buy gift cards for people they hate! Oh well, I guess I’ll have to buy her this lovely shirt instead.” Vince smirked and turned around, whipping out a credit card and tossing both items in front of the cashier. He smirked at her expectantly and waited for her to ring him up, continuing, ”I think she’s going to appreciate my gift more… and I’ll get to appreciate it when I get the honor of seeing her wear it…”

don't know what you need , Drew clenched his jaw. What a perfect age. Why the hell did he just bring up his sister? The boy waited for Vince to finish. He knew there was more coming and he figured he might as well just wait for Vince to be done. Drew watched in his peripheral vision as the fellow student grabbed a low-cut shirt off a rack. ”You know what, I think this would be perfect. Her tits are getting pretty big these days, she needs more tops that show them off. You know, it’s too bad for you that she took all the attractive genes in your family… but lucky for me I guess.” Drew instantly let go of the shirt his was holding onto and slammed it down on the table. His hands balled up into fists so tight, his knuckles turned completely white. He could feel his temper ragging within him. He wanted to punch Vince so hard, right square in the face. "What gives you the fucking right to think you can talk about my little sister like that, huh? Would you like me to get started on yours?" he told Vince, his eyebrows furrowed. Anyone that talked about his sister in such a rude manner was asking for it. Drew was extremely protective of his baby sis and didn't want her to get hurt.
Soon he walked away. He knew it wouldn't stop Vince though, he was very persistent. It was his goal to egg Drew on, and he was good at it. And Andrew was stupid enough to give him his sister as a topic. After a while he heard, ”You know, while we’re on the subject of your sister, do you think you’d mind giving me her number? I hear she’s been looking to hang out with a jock and well, my latest fuck isn’t really working out. Now that little sis is sixteen…” behind him. Drew shook his head and ran a hand through his sandy brown hair. "Actually--" Drew paused, smirked. "You know what? Sure! Better be ready, 'cause here it is: eight six seven, five three zero nine. Good luck, I mean just letting you know, she's a lot like me so you probably won't like her. And mom and dad aren't letting her date til she's eighteen, let alone have sex, especially with someone like you. Plus, she's waayy too smart for your shenanigans," he said to Vince. Sometimes making a joke out of everything helped relieve Drew of his anger. However, it never quite worked with Vince Sterling.
Drew's eyes connected with the checkout girl's. It was almost like she was apologizing to him for Vince, who seemed to be annoying her as well as he was Andrew. "Ya know, my sister actually prefers gift cards so it's a great gift for her," he told the jock. He then watched as Vince threw the low-cut shirt he had picked out earlier on the counter and bought it. ”I think she’s going to appreciate my gift more… and I’ll get to appreciate it when I get the honor of seeing her wear it…” Drew clenched his teeth again, then curved his lips up. "Too bad you're not invited. And you most definitely will not see her wear it! Ever!" he said, his eyes turning into tiny slits. He was turned to him now with his gift card held firmly in his hand. After a short moment, he spun around and left the register and Vince behind in the store.
