annabelle maddox had always been a sweet little thing. the only thing that changed as she grew up in her life was her realized that nice guys always finished last. she had clearly seen this when her father was outright fired after being a hard, dedicated worker in a very powerful company. she realized sometimes being nice isn't the only thing you have to be, so she took view of the hierarchy in her school. the kings and queens of high school would remain the kings and queens well beyond high school. but the only way she knew how to climb the ladder was to act like the best of the best. so she tried her best to fit in with them and associate herself with them. and she slowly got into the crowd as desiree took her under her wing to do her simple tasks.
