life
if someone took a kristian from the past and the kristian people know today and compared them, there would almost be no similarity except for their faces. he grew up in some countryside city in california, his parents were always gone, and there was nobody around for him to play with. although his parents were rich, that didn't exactly help kristian's situation. he was a kid, all he wanted was someone to play with.
he grew up alone with only his grandma to keep him company. he was homeschooled up until he was nine when his parents had enrolled him into a private school. the boy was... socially awkward to say the least. however, after a few years of actually talking to people, kristian had managed to break out of this socially awkward, loner boy to a somewhat social butterfly.
after middle school, his parents had their job transferred to maryland, where kristian had taken the chance to completely renew himself. now, he's enjoying life as it's progressively getting better for him. his parents have found more time for him, and he actually has friends. what more can the boy ask for?

wren was usually a heavy sleeper. no amount of noises and shaking could wake him up. heck, not even his sister can wake him up at first try. he was even harder to wake up when he was having a good dream. in this case, he was having a dream about massy. she was one of the few people he had sweet dreams about. the only other two being his mom and his sister. and then there were the nightmares, dreams that did not come often but still, they appeared every now and then. most of his nightmares were about his dad. scenes of his father wanting to kill him. that, or scenes of massy leaving him. forever. the sudden scream interrupted his dream and made it into a nightmare. suddenly, both of his nightmares combined. his dad just killed massy, mustering one last scream from her before she dropped dead on the floor.
with that, wren jolted awake, sitting up and breathing heavily. he looked up, only to find massy holding a magazine and whacked him with it. he looked at her like she was the one who scared him. "what the hell was that for?!" he scowled, looking up at his girlfriend with accusing eyes. "shit. that scared me." he was still at loss of breath. the junior took a deep breath and took a minute or two to calm himself. "i thought you died." okay. that probably didn't make any sense to her. oh well, wren never did. he reached up and grabbed her by the hand, pulling her into a hug. it wasn't really that hard, seeing as how small she was. after what wren deemed was enough time and his heart rate slowed down to normal, wren let go of her and the same, old, goofy smile made its way back to his features. it didn't last long though. "where were you?! someone could have come in and saw me. jesus christ. i sent you a text. don't you check your phone?! you scared me." wren was rambling at that point, going on about how someone could have caught him when really, he was worried about her. "you weren't with another guy, were you?" he narrowed his eyes, the overprotective side of his coming out. a side of his that massy should have gotten used to by now.
wren laid back down, groaning. "i have so much homework." he paused, scrunching his nose. "but i don't want to do them." wren spoke the truth. he didn't want to start on homework because once he started writing, he'd become so focused on finishing his homework that he'd forget all about massy. it was a weird habit of his, to get lost in what he was doing when it came to paperwork. maybe it was because he spent a lot of time writing. after all, wren wanted to become an author when he grew up. that, or follow his sister's path and become a model. who knows where he'll be in the future. wren covered his face with a pillow, hooking his arms around it. "hey massy." he peeked out of the pillow, "give me a kiss." he held his arms out, comfortable with his lying position on the bed with the pillow on his chest, covering his mouth. it was hard to get a kiss out of her during school, so he figured that now was a proper time to ask for one.
and of course, with wren being wren, he meant the chocolate kind of kiss but he was fine with a massy kiss. after all, one was just as sweet as the other.
