life
seven was never really received how most people want to be received. he was born to a young woman who died giving birth to him, and his father has viewed him as a omen of bad luck since the day he popped out of the womb. honest to god, the first thing that james frasier wanted to do was give away the only child he'd been burdened with - but, he loved his wife, and he couldn't let her die in vain. so, he took the small kid home, and after a lot of deliberation, he decided that he couldn't take care of his son and the company he owned. and so, he left his son, with a nurse, in his penthouse apartment in london. and that's pretty much the way i would define seven's childhood. he was schooled from home, so that he couldn't associate with the other kids, but he never let it get to his head. he wanted to be closer to his father, but his attempts were always refuted. and seven was punished severely for bad behavior. his dad would lock him in closets for extended amounts of time, or whip him with a belt. let's just say - mr. frasier was incredibly old fashioned when it came to punishments.
when seven turned twelve, he practically begged his father to let him transfer to a private school - because it was more social interaction then he got wholed up in the penthouse. after much begging, and a little persuading from his maid, mr. frasier decided to let his son attend private school in london. the experience was absolutely brilliant, and completely new to seven. he made friend, awkwardly and with trouble at first, and soon settled into the society that molded around him. but just as he was completely at ease with his new life, his father announced that they would be moving to america. so, at the age of thirteen, seven and his father moved to portland, oregon. this time, instead of a penthouse, seven and his father lived in a large mansion on the outskirts of the city. seven doesn't talk about it much, since he doesn't approve of coming from wealth when others have so little. not that he says that to anyone.
when seven turned fifteen, he ascended into high school. he was a favorite, from the beginning. he had a fluent accent, even though it was slowly edging away. and for once, seven started to separate from his father. it was easier than expected, since james was always away on business trips or was too busy with his work. seven took up some school hobbies, like football, but he realized quickly that he didn't belong. he quit, soon after. he started cage fighting, outside of school - because he loved the thrill that it gave him. and the power. the ability to control something outside of his reach. it wasn't soon after that he evolved to archery, and to shooting ranges, and now seven's a competent fighter. oh, and his nickname, seven? his sophomore year, a rumor spread around that he'd slept with a different girl each night of the week - hence the number seven. for some reason, the strange nickname just stuck, and now everyone calls him it - including himself. it's another reason for him not to identify with his former self, so he doesn't mind at all.
