as far as everyone is concerned bennett is one of the happiest people around. he is rarely ever seen sober and is constantly on whatever drug he can find at the moment. what people don't know was that ben was diagnosed with depression a few years ago after finding his father's dead body. his father, an army veteran, had undiagnosed PTSD and committed suicide in his bedroom. fifteen year old bennett who had just come home from school was the one who had discovered his body. his mother unable to handle the death of her husband moved bennett and his older sister out to maryland to live with their grandparents. when first staring school in maryland bennett easily became one of the regulars of the drug scene fitting into the stoner clique. whenever someone brought up his father he just told them that he died in the war which wasn't a complete lie. he rarely ever brings up his family and is always much more interested in having fun and trying as many new drugs as he can get his hands on. now as a junior his life is pretty much the same and he continues to spend all his time high or getting high.
