life
from birth, madison has been called madi. now, only her close friends and fellow populars are allowed to call her madi. to everyone else, she is madison, and don't forget it! and now that she's here in high school, she basically rules the school, along with the rest of the popular crowd. madi can essentially get whatever she wants with one bat of her perfect eyelashes. and, of course, she wouldn't be caught dead in one of those terrible uniforms she was given.. so, she improvises, making everything more stylish and setting trends for her fellow students with her crafty skills. also, as rich as she is, she doesn't need a job, so she doesn't have one. what's the point of having something you don't need, right? in the time that most teenagers would spend at work, madi spends shopping or designing clothes. she's truly a fashionista, and though she's extremely popular with everyone, does not have very many close friends. which, to be honest, she doesn't care about. friends just give more oppurtunites for drama.. and madi hates drama, it's the one thing that she wishes she could change about being a popular. also, unlike most populars, madi studies and works hard on her school work. though she could technically just talk her teachers into getting what she wants, she refuses to do so and would much honestly do the work herself. in that aspect, she works just as hard as everyone else.
roleplaying sample
violet walked quickly across the grass, heart racing. have i lost them yet? she wondered, glancing back over her shoulder to see if she was being followed. luckily for her, she was now alone in the court yard outside hogwarts. a sigh of relief slipped from the petite girl and she took a seat on a stone bench, setting her bag down and pulling her knees to her chest. why was the world so cruel to the sweetest of people? violet hadn't done anything to deserve the torture she was getting from her fellow classmates.. all she'd ever done at hogwarts was study her magic and try to make friends. well, somewhere along the line i clearly messed up. she thought bitterly, blinking away the tears that were forming in her purple eyes as she buried her face in her knees. all she wanted was to go home.. back to her family in america, where she'd never have to see any of those dreadful bullies ever again.
unfortunately, she had to stay at hogwarts. she was a purebred witch, and it was her duty to learn magic and become as good at it as possible. her family had high hopes that she would one day become a professor at hogwarts.. but right now, violet didn't want anything to do with hogwarts ever again. she was done with magic, done!
reaching for her wand that was stuck in her boot, the girl eyed the dragonheart string with anger. magic is stupid anyways. she thought to herself, grasping the thin wand in both of her shaky hands. slowly, she pulled her hands closer together, and.. snap! the wand broke into two, and violet threw it into the bushes behind her. magic was overrated. now, all she had left to do was go to professor snape and tell him that she was going home. then, perhaps, she'd have to speak with professor dumbledore before being able to return. but, it would all be worth it.. once she was able to leave this dreaded place.
