OK WOW SERIOUSLY I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DESPERATE FOR SOMEONE TO TAKE A WANT AD IN MY LIFE. SO PLEASE LOOK AT THIS GUY, HE'S SUPER FLEXIBLE SO PLEASE PLEASE DEAR GOD MAKE HIM.
this right here is ____! we'll call him jesse because his face claim is jesse metcalfe. i seriously hope you like jesse because i'm super picky. if you have other ideas, feel free to run them by me, but i really really like jesse hahah. anyway, yeah his name can be whatever. the only requirements are: his age should be either twenty one or twenty two. he is a teacher at manchester. he is savannah's ex. i'll go into details of that below, but i'll tell you a smidge about sav first. she's a twenty one year old french teacher at manchester. sav is currently dating saul stanton, who was also her student last year. she's played by amanda seyfried. okay so here's where jesse comes in.
jesse and sav were high school sweethearts - they dated the majority of junior and senior year, and for a year after high school. things got pretty serious until sav decided she wanted to go to school in france but jesse wanted to stay here in ocean city. so they decided to take a break for a while. savannah went to france and came back two years later to teach at manchester last year. she didn't really get back in contact with jesse cause she didn't really know where he went - she never really saw him around. this is when the whole savannah/saul plot unfolded, she fell in love with him, it was a secret thing (he was legal but she didn't want to lose her job). anyway!
jesse ended up going to college for education in whatever and is teaching this year for the first time. him and sav ran into each other in the meetings before the school year started and kind of struck off a conversation. jesse here is still interested in savannah, even though she's dating saul and she told him that she had a boyfriend. so, here's what i plan for these two. jesse and savannah will be on good terms, probably be able to be friends, since they're both teachers and didn't end their relationship on bad terms. as jesse gets closer to sav, he learns more about saul, that he's younger than savannah, etc etc (i don't know whether jesse will know if he was her student last year - poppy and i are still trying to figure out how the public side of things is gonna go). i want jesse to have kind of a confident, almost cocky air about him, probably possessive, probably condescending, and most definitely stubborn and not willing to give up. basically, jesse's job is to antagonize saul, LOL, all the while trying to get savannah back, which will cause problems in itself because sav will be so confused about everything, even though she loves saul.
okay so yeah his future after that is really open, sav and saul are finals so savannah/jesse won't have another go, but i'm hoping this helps people take it so they have a character with an open final, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TAKE HIM seriously i'm like dying of needing this to happen SO BADLY UGH crying. fuck. me. please take him. seriously. i'll be in debt to you forever juST taKE HIm CrYINg FEeLIngS okay i need to shut up but seriously take him fuck
