Molly wasn't always homeless, she also wasn't always cautious everywhere she goes. She was once a happy girl with a great life. She grew up as a normal girl in a normal household. Her mom was a house wife and her father was a lawyer. He never wanted her mom to lift a finger and work so that was what he did, he worked..a lot. And him working was the downfall to everything.

After a couple years, she watched her mom go from happy with her dad to just not caring and more meh with him and it was all because of how much he worked. The only time he was really home was for lunch and dinner and then it was back to the firm, it was like the law was his family and his actual family was his job. Molly learned to live with it because she would always go see him at work, and it's what she grew up on so she figured it was the norm for her.

But as Molly looked at her mom, she noticed that her mom was being more friendly with this guy she knew from school that always came over. She was having an affair. Molly knew, but she never said anything because she loved her parents and didn't want to be the one to pull the plug on it. But a couple days after Molly's seventeeth birthday her dad came home from work early and caught his mom in bed with another man. She had heard a lot of screaming and she ran down stairs to find that her dad killed his mom in an act of rage. he turned around and seen that moll was standing there and then he started to come after her, knowing that she knew and never said anything. Molly managed to run and get away and she never looked back.

That started Molly's homelessness and unemployed status. She would never hold a job for too long because it'd be too easy for her dad to find her. She didn't even know if he was in jail or not, all she knew was that she needed to keep moving. And that was how she ended up here, living in her car and hiding her homelessness well.

The past seems super interesting, but before I can accept, I have some questions I need to ask. Since murder is a pretty big deal, I feel there are certain bases that really need to be covered, but no worries! It's nothing overly complicated!

1. When you say her mom was getting friendly with a guy from school, do you mean Molly's school or the mother's school? If she's having an affair with a guy from Molly's school, then how did she meet him? If she met him through Molly, then they would presumably be the same age, and wouldn't that be statutory rape? If it's a guy from the mother's school, then did they know each other in the past and then hook up when they ran into each other? The wording was just a little confusing.

2. So her dad caught the mom in bed with another guy and then murdered the mom in an act of rage. Whatever happened to the other guy? Did he overpower the dad and run away? Did he also get killed? Obviously he was there to witness the whole scene and couldn't conveniently melt into the ground to escape, so the dad wouldn't let him go so easily, but it likely wouldn't have been easy to kill him as well since as a male, he would likely have equal strength and would be able to put up more of a fight. Unless a gun was used, but that's loud and lot of people would hear, and how the heck did he get have a gun ready for use if it were an act of rage?

3. Molly ran away. Makes sense. But if she has no clue if her dad is in jail or not, then why won't she go find out? It's possible to be on the move while staying up-to-date with what goes on. When a murder occurs, then it's often put in the news with details of the police arrest and court trial. Since he works hard as a lawyer, chances are he's successful, and the news of a big-shot ironically breaking the laws he preaches about and uses is pretty noteworthy for journalists. I feel like it would be hard to miss the news unless she's deliberately tuning it out, and since she witnessed the whole crime, the police would likely be searching for her to get her account of what happened.

4. If she's homeless and unemployed, then how does she afford car insurance and the gas money to drive that car? How is she hiding her homelessness so well? Does she steal money in order to get what she needs? Because if she does, then she would likely be wanted by the police for theft...
