Well; I am assuming he is her professor, so he can know her from school. If she is a transfer I might be able to see him being a little more attentive towards her in order to see that she is being able to get along with people here and that she isn't having any sort of trouble. Haha I can kinda see Alani having some weird crush on him because he's the attractive teacher. Not like it would go anywhere but it would be funny.

So I feel like Derrick was slightly like Mav when he was in high school so I could see Mav kinda really getting along with him. Mav's dad kinda failed at life so ya know maybe he looks up to him as a mentor-ish figure?

Except Alani is so dating/flirting/any interactions with men that isn't just friends awkward that she probably wouldn't do anything except be like -drool such an attractive teacher-. I feel like interesting plots could come from it though haha. Especially if they get a student/teacher friend bond thing and he asks her to babysit his child. Do you have aim because we should talk about this more!

I love that song. And it's probably good that she is not that direct when it comes to flirting. For Derricks sake. Um, I think that if they do get a nice relationship -student/teacher- then he might do ask her to help him babysit if he has a lot of work to get done. Well, you said Jaylee is pretty opinionated and I’d just LOVE to hear what she had to say about Dallas. Dallas isn’t use to people calling him out so if she did there would probably be a bit of tension. He’d also admire her for standing up to him and just being like dude.

JAYLEE&&MELANIE
Mel on the other hand is a lot like Jaylee. Mel is a prep and so far at the top of her class academic wise and is working on getting into Julliard or Princeton. She, like Jaylee, is willing to talk to just about anyone so I could see that making them better friends.

MAVERICK&&DALLAS
Okay well these two are pretty similar but I don’t think their similarity will work in the others favor. I see these 2 butting heads a lot. I don’t know how Maverick is about getting into fights at school and even in public but Dallas sure a hell never backs down.

Okay well I was thinking maybe him and Mel grew up together? And like they were best friends and lived down the road from each other? And then they moved onto high school and Mel got into her academics and music while Maverick got into his baseball? I see them having an almost awkward relationship now and never really talking to each other unless they are alone or they have too. But like eventually they become friends again? I don’t know im rambling now haha

Well, Dally here is also new here but that’s pretty regardless to my evil plot I had in mind haha. Dallas is basically a total jerk and he has his reasons although none of them real give him forgiveness for being the way he is. He basically uses girls as pons of warfare. And when he has alcohol in him he really turns on the charm. He knows how to manipulate girls in believing whatever it is they want to believe. Some girls like that badass rebel some go for the rebel without a cause and well most believe its not who he really is or that they could ‘’change’’ him. So im sure we could come up with something fun and interesting for these two haha

I kind of see Melanie taking Alani under her wing. She’d actually see like a younger version of herself in Alani –mel has yet to have her first kiss too! Haha- So she’d be willing to help Alani figure out exactly where she fits in at the school and all that.

Oh I feel like she would have some choice words for Dallas. I can see maybe a love/hate relationship here with possible eventual mutual respect? This could turn into an interesting and fun friendship thing to play out haha.

Friends who use each other as resources to motivate the other towards their goal? Mel towards Princeton/Julliard and Jay towards Harvard. Jay says Mel can share her table at the country club to study.

MAVERICK&&DALLAS
Mav would not back down from a fight ever. The only exception to that is if Kota is around. He doesn't want to disappoint her so if Dallas tried to fight him when she was around he would definitely try to push it away. Also he would probably try his best not to fight during school hours so he doesn't hurt his chances of getting into Yale.

MAVERICK&&MELANIE
I like this idea. They were good friends when they were younger, but just drifted apart when they got older. They need some situation that would bring them to being friends again though for sure.

ALANI&&DALLAS
Alani would be weary of Dallas. Even though she's new she's not dumb. She knows a bad boy when she sees one. She might not even really give him the time of the day. Which would be interesting because I feel like Dallas is one of those guys who isn't used to that.

Aw ya. Alani needs mucho help getting acquainted with the school. She's not quite sure where she fits in right now and so having Mel take her under her wing would be helpful, even though Alani doesn't really see her being a prep in the long run. Having a good friend who looks out for her is still nice.

Likely friends? She's a cheerleader and he's a jock, so they're bound to run in the same social circles. Since he's friendly, she would return the formality, but she wouldn't be too interested in knowing him any better.

Enemies? Hales has never been too keen on getting friendly with new kids. She just feels like they're too lost and needy, which she finds annoying. She would possibly make fun of Alani if she passes by, so they might be better off with a mutual avoidance.

Friends? He might be willing to show her around once in a while since she's new in town and he likes to feign helpfulness in order to be liked, but otherwise he wouldn't pay her much heed since she's rather naive about guys, and he's the type who likes to sleep around and flirt shamelessly.

Acquaintances? Aphrodite generally avoids anyone in the popular crowd because she feels like they would readily bully her, so she would want to keep away from Jaylee. However, she might hear about her since she's close to Calvin, who distrusts her around Alex.

Ok! these two are going to be friends, for sure! I mean they both teach at the same school and I am sure they can get along quite nicely. I see them just hanging out at their house, and just chilling with some beers while talking. If that gets boring than they could just head out and do whatever the heck they want. Derrick is always up for anything so he most certainly follow Corbin's lead if he feels like it. Or if he is being to lazy to come up with something.

I think we know how this is going to play out. Sort off lol. I think he could have hit his head or something and she was the one who did the stitches, and that is how they got to talking. Maybe he had to stay the night to make sure he was fine and she had to come to his room every now and then to check he didn't have a concussion. That could cause them to talk and befriend eachother, and we can see where it goes from there. That's what I got, or what we settle for I am not sure I was a little asleep at the time lol, let me know if I made any sort of mistake.
