life
born and raised in beautiful los angeles, california, lucas had just about everything his heart desired. his father, steven, owns his own law firm and lucas never truly learned the value of a dollar. having money likely effected the way that lucas grew up, because he never had a true group of friends - most of them either used him for his money or had money themselves thus forming "cliques". equipted with a dashing personality and good looks, lucas quickly learned that he could use these skills to his advantage, often charming girls just to have sex and then leave them just as quick. his parents recently moved him to maryland (much to his disapproval) and hoped he could get a fresh start. lucas, wanting to one day be considered a royal, already has the credentials needed to be in the popular clique, uses his dashing (yet decieving) personality to get what he wants. the only thing really holding him back is his questioning sexuality, although he does a good job of keeping it under wraps. lucas also has a penchant for partying, and often uses alcohol as an excuse to make stupid decisions. it is hard to see the true nature of lucas, especially because he thinks rather highly of himself.

The mindless walk to the room 307 was clouded by Lucas' view on what happened during his last term at Lipton. With each daring step he took, memories of that night flooded his head and begged to be released. It was one night, Lucas' first night - nothing could have possibly come from it right? He was straight, and as far as he knew, the other boy was straight as well. At least that was what he said. It was a one time thing, or was it? He hadn't heard from the guy in months, mainly because he was stupid for not exchanging numbers with the dude, but if he did see the guy what could he say to him? Surely sleeping with a guy didn't make you gay, perhaps curious, but to go to the extreme and say gay was an understatement. Forget that Lucas had began noticing himself checking out men more and more and the diminishing interest in the girls that he slept with, and you have his closeted sexuality that was going to remain locked inside no matter what it took.
Lucas scanned the brass numbers that lined all of the dorm rooms, his hand occasionally moving to wave at some of the familiar (as well as unfamiliar) people that passed by him. Surely this was a predominately freshman filled dormitory, unusual for a senior to be stuck in this crap filled dorm room, but Lucas was going to make the best of this situation. He muttered to himself how disappointed he would be if he roomed with a freshman again, as that was a pain he would rather not experience again. Then the moment came: room 307. Lucas nervously placed the key into the slot and once he heard the click! he slowly opened the door.
What happened next was one of those typical 'what the fuck' moments. Lucas was completely overcome with shock as he looked at the attractive dark-haired boy that stood less then ten feet away from him. That was the guy he slept with months ago! Lucas flung his bag on the empty bed silently, his eyes grazing back at the guy he knew. What were the odds that Lucas would room with someone that he knew, let alone one of the people he hooked up with. Crazy. "Uhh..hey. Matt right?" he said softly, his voice just a tad shaky. Yeah, Lucas was nervous. Extremely nervous. He couldn't help it, that was just him. He turned slightly, facing the boy as if he was going to say something else. Lucas screwed himself over already and he knew it too. It hadn't even been a minute since this shock happened and Lucas already figured he messed things up. Great. "How have you been?".
