(he can have an ego, but it's mainly immature playfulness). benjamin goes out of his way to make sure other people are doing well, so people tend to enjoy his company quite a bit. he holds his friends close to him, since most of his family isn't around any more, and is as loyal as they come. rivals i really don't see why benjamin would have any enemies, but i suppose there could be the occasional person who would get irritated with his energetic, childish behavior. ben is a great boss to the people who work below him, though he does have a nasty habit of procrastinating (though he always pulls things off brilliantly at the last second). he jokes around a lot, so maybe some people could take offense to those things, but it's pretty hard to hate ben. i mean, come on. look at him. sweethearts ben is really charming, so i could definitely see some flirts or exes in this category. however, his final is the beautiful sophie abraham <3 so that's all tied up and there's not gonna be any relationships before that, so the only thing i could say right now is casual flirts, crushes, or exes. c:

Giovanni and Des:

I think flirty friends would probably be best for these two. Maybe have it so that Des tries to manipulate Giovanni into doing what she wants to get her main goals whether it be posting something in the paper or giving her information about something or someone she's taken a interest in. When they interact it's mostly Des play flirting with Giovanni, but Giovanni knows her well enough to know when she's trying to play him and tells her to get to the point and stop wasting his time. He once had a huge crush on her, but she's the one that opened his eyes to the way things truly work around here. He's not bitter about it in the least bit, well a little, but he mostly thanks her for it because it kind of helped shape him into who he is today.

Bishop and Barbie:

Knew each other in high school a little, but never really interacted. She knew Bishop was a stoner back in the day so when she saw him at a party one day recently, she asked him if he knew where she could score some good blow. Bishop just so happened to have some on him and they did a line or two together and since then they've been shooting up together on occasion.

Giovanni and Ben:

Giovanni hates Ben. They've worked together in the past collaborating on a few projects, and Ben's carefree attitude in the workplace disgusts Giovanni. They were close to a deadline and Ben didn't seem to mind that they were way behind, and that just doesn't sit well with Giovanni. However, Giovanni does have a great deal of respect for Ben's ability as an editor because when it was all said and done, the project turned out to be a huge success and Ben's last minute efforts turned out to be crucial in making it one. But Giovanni would never admit that, and visibly shows his dislike of Ben whenever they work together.
