[/style][/td][td] [atrb=border,0,true] Jaylee honestly couldn’t be any more excited. She was about to go pick up Case for a day of shopping and mostly buying him things, but getting a few things for herself. She loved that kid. If she had a brother she would want him to be exactly like Case. Sure he wasn’t the brightest crayon in the box, but she loved him regardless. She just wanted to hug the kid every time she saw him. She had had a very interesting and slightly stressful week so getting out and shopping with Case was just what the doctor ordered.
Jaylee rolled off her bed and looked at herself. Her hair was up in a messy bun, she was wearing some grungy tank, and random boxers that she was pretty sure she had jacked from Lucas one night but they could just be some of the ones she had bought to lounge around the house in. Every time she went out with Case, especially shopping, she felt like she had to look her best. Mostly because he was in her same clique and they always expected the best in looks. Jaylee looked in her closet. Sure she had some cute clothes, but she had never been the best at knowing what looked good together. So with that she pulled out a few things from her closet, slipped a pair of sandals on, grabbed her keys and was out the door.
She got into her car and instantly rolled down the windows. She loved the feeling of the summer breeze on her skin. Sure it was humid, but there was nothing better than the windows down, music blasted, and driving as fast as possible without getting a ticket. Jaylee pulled up to Case’s house and pulled up the emergency break in her car. She slipped her phone out of her pocket and sent him a quick text letting him know she was here. She couldn’t wait to get this show on the road. [/td][/tr][/table] [/center]

The boy rolled off his bed. If he wasn't awake, the sudden jolt of pain he felt on the back of his head was. Ow...he got to his feet, only in a white t-shirt and a pair of boxers. The sleeping gear that he felt comfortable in. He managed to get himself into the shower. Enjoyed himself a warm bath and was quick to get out and dry himself. Coming out of the shower with a towel wrapped around him, he looked through his dresser to find an adequate outfit for today. He didn't want to wear anything too flashy. They weren't meeting the president or the queen of Englad. Unless Jaylee had some cool connections that she didn't tell Casey about. But that was highly improbable to most. Meanwhile, Casey got himself excited that there was a fifty percent chance that they were actually meeting the queen of England.
Casey admired Jaylee for being the person she was. She didn't seem to be like most people. The girl was confident, determined, and most of all, friendly. At least to other that were friendly like Casey himself. He looked up to her because she was now a role model figure in his life. They were close friends already and she helped him out a lot. He was sure she felt the huge connection like he did. They were going shopping together anyway and not many people invited to shop. Mostly because it wasn't the most "guy" thing to do, but at least he enjoyed it and that's all that really mattered in this situation.
After getting completely dressed, Leo sat around for a while in his room, just lolling around, waiting to be picked up. And as soon as he felt his phone vibrate, he was ready to just roll out of the door, which he practically did as excited he was. Coming out of the grandiose house that belonged to his parents, he practically sprinted to the passenger side of Jaylee's car. Thanks for picking me up Jaylee. I have actually been looking forward to spending time with you! he said in such a gleeful manner. And it's good you're spending time with me now while Leo is gone, because I'm pretty sure like...he's gonna hog me when he gets back, he giggled, pretty sure that was the Leo-esque thing to do after a long vacation away from his best friend. [/style][/td][td] [atrb=border,0,true] Jaylee smiled as she watched Case walk out of his home and get in her car. She really had missed being around the boy. He was like a baby brother to her and she loved it. She totally planned on spoiling the kid throughout the day. It was what she would naturally do if he really was her brother. Jaylee figured that she got a big enough allowance from her parents, why not spend it on her friends, and that was she usually did. Ninety-nine percent of it went towards her getting things for her friends because it wasn’t like she really needed anything. The other one percent went towards her raspberry lemonade addiction that she had to keep up. It really was the only thing that helped keep her focused when she was working on whatever she was working on at the country club.
‘You’re most welcome Case. I’ve been looking forward to spending time with you too.’ Jaylee leaned over in her seat and gave her friend a hug before taking off the emergency break and making their way to the mall. Jaylee couldn’t help but laugh at Case’s comment about Leo. The two of them were as close as Jay was with Jax. There was something different between them though. Jaylee couldn’t help but be able to see them one day together. Although she knew both males said they were totally straight. She shrugged the idea off knowing that it probably wouldn’t ever happen so there was no use in even bringing it up. ‘Well that’s what best friends do. They hog their best friend. When does he get back anyways?’
Before long the two friends were pulled up and parked at the mall. It had been awhile since Jay had even gone to the mall. She needed a new pair of converse and some clothes for school. It had seemed that over the summer all of her school appropriate clothes just wouldn’t do anymore. She was going to let Case chose where they went though. Sure she had a few things that she needed, it wasn’t like they were of dire importance. ‘So where to first?’ she asked as she looped her arm in her friend’s as they made their way towards the mall. When it came to picking out friends, Case wasn't dull minded at all. His mind may have been slower in some areas, but the boy certainly knew how to pick and choose his friends. The only bad nut he had in his friend circle was Amy and that was simply because he didn't realize she was an ex-popular. And as long as he didn't realize that, she wouldn't treat him awfully so she could still easily be considered a friend...of sorts. But he could definitely and surely say that Jaylee was a friend--heck a role model, he would never want to lose in his life time. She often encouraged him to do the right thing and helped him differentiate right from wrong. And if she knew that Casey knew where Brazil was now, he was sure she would be quite happy about that. Yeah! I can tell this will be fun. I haven't been to the mall ina while and I'm sure new clothes would be good.
The hug he received from Jay was warming like a Summer's greeting. It was rather odd how Jay seemed to fill out the empty space that his own parents left. He wasn't even aware of the missing pieces in his life. But he had them, alright and Jay gladly took this spot in his life. She guided him in the right direction. She was wiser sister he never had. Yeah that's probably true. He means well I think. Casey laughed giddily. The car ride wasn't too long so Casey couldn't complain there. It was actually very relaxing. Just to sit back for a moment with a friend. A good friend at that.
As they arrived to the mall, Casey was incredibly excited to finally be here. He anticipated this entire event ever since they planned it on the chat. Their arms were linked and they walked into the mall. Casey wasn't exactly sure where he wanted to go. Somewhere with nice things.he replied vaguely. Of course to him it was pretty straightforward. Any other person would be confused. Luckily, Jaylee knew him better to know what he considered nice things.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=style, background-color: #423c42;,true][cs=2] & YOU'RE NOT EVEN HUMAN ` YOU'RE JUST A LOVELY IDEA OF ONE WHO I ACCIDENTALLY LOVED AND GAVE EVERYTHING TO BECOME THE GIRL ON THE PIANO BENCH SINGING ALL OF HER TEARS - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - away | [atrb=width,240] Jay really couldn’t pin point when her and Case had become friends. It had just happened. One day she found herself talking to the boy more and more and eventually he became like her younger brother who she longed to look after. She loved Case, but in the most platonic way possible. She literally would do anything for the boy because he really meant a lot to her. She hated to see the boy upset and knew that she would do whatever she could to make sure he was happy. Hence why she had offered to take the boy out today. Well that and she barely saw him because he was always with Leo. Not that she really minded because Leo seemed like a cool guy and she had other things she was doing, but it was nice to spend a day with her faux little brother. ‘Ya I haven’t either. I heard they just got a Rue 21 too.’ Jay had been to Rue when she visited New York and fell in love with the store. So when she found out they were putting one into their mall she was ecstatic.
She nodded with a small laugh. ‘He’s your best friend. I know he means well.’ Jay couldn’t help but think of Jax whenever he got over protective. As much as Case was like her younger brother whom she looked out for, Jax was like her older brother who would punch anyone who even thought about Jay in the wrong way. Sometimes it was a little overbearing, but she knew he meant well. Hey, that was what best friends were for anyways, weren’t they?
‘Somewhere with nice things? Hmm…I know just the place?’ Case tended to be Jay’s usual mall buddy so she knew what he meant when he said nice things. Saks would be the first place they hit. She loved that place and bought the majority of her clothes for her dad’s business things there. Plus they always had the cutest shoes. Jay guided Case into the store with a big smile on her face. ‘Clothes or shoes first?’ Jay let the intoxicating smell of all of the perfumes that collided in the air reach her nostrils as they stood in the huge door. ‘Or help me pick out new perfume.’ She was almost out of her favorite one, Wild by Ralph Lauren, and was in desperate need of a new bottle and maybe a new scent before school started. | [atrb=width,140]words ,413 tagged ,case outfit ,clickynotes ,yay mall | [cs=2] |
