Kate Harrison is a free spirit, always has been and always will be. Never one to stress, Kate had simply glided through life, making friends and breezing in and out of people's lives without a second thought and that was just how she liked it. She had always been an independent kid, even as a toddler, she knew her own mind and that had continued on into her adolescent years. She'd never been terribly good with authority. When she was seven, she'd accidentally gotten red marker pen all over the cream coloured sofa in her living room, trying to make her parents a “Happy Anniversary” card which consisted of just a large folded sheet of paper with a badly drawn heart on the front. Her mum got home, saw the mess and proceeded to scold little Kate who simply shrugged, handed her the card and proceeded to skip off and play in the back garden.
Kate has a strong bond with her parents, she really is a Daddy's Girl. Sweet and innocent, she never had an issue talking herself out of trouble by simply batting her eye lashes. Her bond with her older brother, Daniel, is also strong. Like two peas in a pod, she is so happy whenever he comes home from Los Angeles and visits them.
When she started at Manchester Prep, it didn't take Kate long to make a number of friends. In all honesty, it was difficult for people to escape her because she simply ran after them and introduced herself. Academically inclined, Kate passes all of her classes without dropping her grades but the stress of exams never did seem to bother her. She didn't revise too much, much rather preferring to take a swim in the ocean instead. Besides, what was the point in cramming the night before an exam? If you didn't know it now, you weren't going to know it the morning after.
Her happy demeanour is infectious. A happy-go-lucky girl, she seems to reflect negativity easily. She's like a little bundle of joy; rarely upset and simply radiating joy. Nice and helpful, she's made an effort to try and at least say hello to everyone in school.
In her final year of high school, Kate wants to be able to graduate and after that, attend a good school. The future for Kate Harrison is bright and shiny, just like she is.
