life
the story of willia and jackson griffin was your classic girl next door scenario. they were childhood friends living in the same neighborhood all their lives. but in high school they began to look at each other in a new light and started dating. nobody thought the relationship would last but they ended up getting married straight out of high school. the both of them went to the same college and a few months after they graduated they decided to try for a child. on august fourth they had their first son sullivan tate griffin. he was named after willa's grandfather who had raised her on his own. growing up sulli always seemed to be the center of attention. his curiosity always seemed to get the best of him and he ended up in difficult situations. he was constantly climbing on things, running around, and even broke a couple bones. his mother was constantly worrying about him and keeping on eye on him was rather difficult and she didn't plan on paying anymore ridiculous medical bills. . she attempted to get him involved in sports or clubs. anything to get him from running around like a chicken with his head cut off.
when he was in middle school sulli was labeled the class clown because he always seemed to have something to say. but the teachers couldn't help but enjoy his little comments so he rarely got in trouble. though every once in a while he got that teacher would send him to the principals office. each time his parents would ground him and attempt to teach him a lesson but he always ended up back in that same position. sulli always seemed to be surrounded by people waiting for the next great thing he was going to say and do.
for his senior year of high school sullivan's parents decided to move him from his home in california to maryland. his father had gotten a new job transfer and it was a great opportunity for the family, of course sulli wasn't too happy about it. he spent the beginning of his time in maryland completely hating it and just waiting until he could go to college back in california. but instead he actually ended up really liking the place maybe even a little more than california, not that he'd ever admit it. sulli decided to stay in state and go to college there because it would save his parents some money and he wasn't sure if he could leave all his friends.

he watched her as she tried to think and couldn't help but smile in the manner that she did it. everything about this girl was just really cute and it seemed as though she wasn't trying at all. she then finally remembered what her grade in the class was. i'm around there too he said with a small chuckle. english was never his best class but he always passed with a c or a b and that was all he could really ask for. sulli normally did pretty average in school as long as he put in some effort into it. that was the hard part for him, putting in the effort. normally back in california it wasn't as hard because he was use to just going out and doing homework with friends under the sun. but here all he wanted to do was just keep in his room and not bother going out into the cold.
he was glad to see that she was up for sitting and doing the work here and she followed him over to the table. he scanned the library wondering if he would see any familiar faces around. everyone in his class were probably already finished so he didn't expect to see many of them struggling last minute in the library. but every day before an assignment was due normally one would find sulli here attempting to finish whatever it was he had to do. there was no way he could actually do things in his room because there was always so much to distract him. he had a television with a game system in his room, not to mention the laptop and the fully stocked kitchen not too far away. that was also one of the reasons his phone was currently on silent. he actually needed to do work this time so he was attempting to convince himself to be serious.
she seemed really happy to actually have pencils with her because she seemed to be the same as him and had to constantly ask people to borrow one from them. as she spoke she went through her bag and put one on top of his worksheet. thanks he told her with a small smile as he used it to write his name on the paper. writing his full name clearly on the top of the sheet he put the pencil down and was ready to begin working on it, well as ready as he was going to get that was.
she extended her hands towards him and shook her hand in a manner that made it so he couldn't help but laugh. everything about this girl was just making the situation much more interesting and amusing. it's nice to meet you mel he said using her nickname. he really did mean it too; he thought she was interesting and it seemed as though it was going to be fun working together.
i can be pretty distracted too he admitted to her with a small smile. but i just moved here the beginning of the year, and i'm a senior he told her with a slight nod of his head. he shrugged out of his hoodie and hung it on the back of his chair. picking up his pencil he began to twirl it around in his fingers as he read the first question. i really don't want to do this he confessed to her with a small sigh. just thinking about how long it was going to take to finish it all gave him a headache.
