Mya Dashwood and Rebecca Dashwood are the daughters of the headmaster and rightfully so, they rule the school, but Mya isn't really your typical queen, for starters she's actually nice. Becca on the other hand is well not the easiest person to get along with, and with two different personalities fights are bound to happen, and arguments are bound to break out. At the end of the day though they are sisters, but there is one person the two of them have in common, Joe Walker. The three of them have known each other since they were little kids and Mya and Joe have always been the best of friends.
The two started dating when they were thirteen and have been on and off for the last five years, till now. During family dinner a week before their summer vacation, when her parents started talking about their future together Mya broke up with Joe for good and they went their separate ways. That same night Becca hadn't attended family dinner with the excuse that she was sleeping over at her best friend Sherry's house and she was, but the two of them had decided to go to a senior party, before the sleep over began. At the party Sherry was drinking a lot and Becca lost track of her when she went off with a couple of guys. By the time Becca had found her she had heard screams coming from a room and went inside to find Sherry being raped by a couple of guys. She tried to stop them, but one of them held her down and made her watch while they raped her friend, and once they were done they started to come on to her.
After the dinner, Joe was heartbroken about his break up with Mya and decided to go to a party and get wasted. it happened to be the same party Becca was and he had friends there and one of them asked where Mya was and he told them she wasn't up for a party and they said it was weird cause they just saw Becca go upstairs. So he needed to find her and get her home before something bad happened. So he searched the house for her. Before the guys could do anything to harm Becca though Joe[/font] barged in with a couple of friends and kicked the guys asses and saved her. Well Becca was pretty much traumatized by that and leaned on Joe for comfort and he was a bit heart broken from the break up with Mya and one thing lead to another and they slept together and promised it was a one time thing, a mistake that was never going to happen again and they were going to keep a secret from Mya, but now with the hellcat out on the prowl and Becca's new feeling's for Joe developing how long will the secret stay a secret?

Darren is really close to his sisters, especially to his older sister Mya, he is pretty much the peace keeper in the family and pretty much is the one anyone goes to when they need someone to talk to. When it comes to girls he is the charmer and can pretty much talk his way out of any situation. He comes off as a bit of a payer, but he's not he actually has respect for the girls he goes out with or likes. He's confidant and cool and knows more than he should since out of guilt Becca told him how she hooked up with Joe, and now he's pretty much avoiding his Mya as much as he can so she won't tell her.

The youngest of the family, and "adopted" is Andrew Dashwood and he is the key to his parents marital problems, but he doesn't know that. After Becca and Darren were born Stephanie was done carrying their children and got her tubes tied and Marcus was never the most faithful guy to her as he could have been and from one drunk moment of infidelity he got another woman pregnant. He thought he paid her off to go somewhere else and raise the kid, or to get an abortion and keep her mouth shut, he didn't care which as long as she never contacted him again.
He kept this as far away from his wife as possible and he did a great job of it. Until three years later the woman died in a car crash and left him her son Andrew. When Stephanie found out about this she was beyond pissed and heartbroken from Marcus’ infidelity, but she couldn't let an innocent three year old child suffer because of it and they decided to take him in. They told their children that he was a very close family friend's son who had just died and named them the godparents of him and that is why they were going to adopt him and left it at that. Now that Andrew is fifteen he still has no idea Marcus is his real father and though he loves his family he's starting to wonder who his biological parents are.

So even though Marcus and Stephanie are pretty terrific parents, when their oldest son Ashton Dashwood came to them and told them he was dropping out of college to pursue his music career they weren't thrilled. Marcus went as far as cutting his son off completely until he came to his senses and got back into school to pursue something that would actually help him in the long run. Well that only pissed Ashton off and though he loved his family, he picked up his things and moved to California, signed a recording contract with Nappy Boy entertainment.
He went on tour, now he is working on his second album in California, but every time he come home to spend time with his family he doesn't stay long due to his father not supporting his music or life choices and fighting with his younger brother Carter Dashwood, because the two of them just have never gotten along, because Carter is pretty much a clone of Marcus and follows in the same mind set, but Ashton always lets the his family visit him in California whenever and is the closest to his younger siblings.

Carter is what you would call the Percy Weasley of the Dashwood family. He just graduated college with a teaching degree and has started off as a teacher at Dashwood Academy and though most of the students love him, he's a tough grader, doesn't have favorites and sticks very closely to the rules. He is not really close with any of his siblings in particular, because he's always been the snitch and the bad guy and just as uptight as ever and they don't really like that. He doesn't get along with his older brother Ashton and because of that has a very strained relationship with his sister Mya, but he wants to fix that just doesn't know how.
