Back in the sixties, a group of French immigrants and Italian immigrants arrived in Miami. For awhile, everyone got along just fine, until a fire broke out during a ball that the Italians weren’t invited to. Shortly after, six people were killed in an elevator accident at one of the Italian-owned hotels. The groups blamed each other, and the war was officially on.
It’s been almost fifty years, and the feud has yet to end. The French are still fighting with the Italians, and now their children and grandchildren have been dragged into the fight. They all attend the same schools, and they’re all dealing with the same social issues. You think that their similar problems would be enough to make them forget their differences, but it’s not.
