ariel moved to maryland from texas with her parents and her older brothers at the end of last year. she didn't really want to move. she attended a catholic school and fit in quite nicely there. she was the captain of the cheerleading squad there and hopes to secure a solid position here. everyone looked up to her in texas and she was loved by everyone. she has been a dancer and a gymnast all her life and really loves both things. her favorite is ballet even though the teacher usually scolded her for her lack of discipline.
here it's been a shaky road. when she first arrived she had no idea how the cliques worked and started hanging out with a group of stoners which she thought were just really nice people with an overactive imagination. then, she found out there was a cheerleading squad and she got really excited. she made the squad and instantly she was surrounded by boys. obviously, this upset some of the other girls and rumors started to surge.
as soon as ariel found out about them, she threw a hissy fit and kicked the culprits repeatedly. she got detention and people began to think of her as a badass. she made sure to set the record straight one day in the cafeteria when she announced she was a virgin and loved god.
the next day, school let out for the summer and she learned that she had failed four classes and would have to attend summer school. so that's what she's doing, and so far the people in summer school seem nice, the cliques aren't all that marked but she's afraid of what will happen once school starts up again.
