life
don't need nothing, but a good time is her motto. growing up in australia, her father was an soccer player and her mother was a model. which meant lots of money for them. growing up was the easy life for her, but she stayed humble, taking time in beach volleyball and anything sport wise that entertained her and kept her attention. since moving from australia at the age of eleven she attended the best private schools in ocean city and it was no wonder she got herself into manchester preparatory academy. her freshmen year, she made the volleyball team and her sweet talking skills got her the attention of the royals. over the years she slowly lost some of her true self to the royals and it's left her unsure. it's truthful that she has a pure heart, but flawed to keep her status amongst the populars. each day is another day for her to live through and stay alive in the sea of sharks.

licking her lips, she helped ease the parched feeling as she sat up straighter, a habit her mother always enforced on her. probably if she ever met someone else of royalty status of the sort. her one possible dream for her probably, especially since she had lost the weight that once put her into overweight, even nearing obese. she shuttered remembering those days. a rich girl whose parents owned a spa, was never going to meet another rich nice boy looking as she did. even her parents nagged on her, but not as much as her school mates. the world today was harsh and the sun's rays that day possibly even further so as it brought her back to the real world only monetarily.
biting her lip she didn't want to go back to all that. she could still feel the ache in her heart, but even here she wondered if she could do it. reach popular status with those who probably treated others like she was treated. it was an inward dilemma she struggled with since setting a foot in the states. maybe she could keep herself, while entering the lion's den. or in this case, lion and lioness' den. her heart raced even at the thought that she had missed an approaching figure. squinting her eyes as she glanced up shifting her head only an inch to the side to avoid the sun's beaming rays as she smiled.
very easy on the eyes and definitely not average boy, guy, man? she wasn't sure on the term. certainly still in high school possibly, but she could never be sure. some twenty-five year olds could easily look seventeen and some seventeen year olds could look twenty-two. she stopped herself when she realized mere moments had passed since he spoke and she hadn't said anything. she was over analyzing him and the thought alone brought a faint frown to her lips before a smile touched her lips. finally. as she parted her lips after a gentle tug on her bottom lip.
"hey," she replied softly before gazing up to his eyes. she wasn't one to dwell on abs or even lower to any bulge that might be showing. relaxing a bit, even when his stance and even gaze said the opposite. possibly sizing her up as well? everything about him made her curious. where did he stand here? where did he attend? once again she over thought herself as she laughed, delayed, but she still did remembering his comment as she shrugged her shoulders up tilting her head to the side. "and what makes you think i see you all as sharks?" she said her french accent, something that would be heavy for quite some time until she settled in as she licked her lips again gazing back over to the crowd, much thicker than the one around her, were partying it up and drinking booze.
"i'd be pretty crazy to come here with the chance of meeting some of you all, if i was afraid or saw you as sharks," she grinned wrapping her arms around her knees straightening her pose further as she sunk her toes into the warm sand off the edge of her towel relaxing further. was it obvious she was new? the thought alone almost pushed another frown to the surface of her face. or perhaps the town was small so to speak. everyone knew who other, or at least the higher ups on the social ladder did, as she nodded. simple.
"oui, i just moved here from a city in france. on my own, for the high school here. so, consider me a transfer." fresh meat. perfect way to show herself off, she thought sarcastically. especially if he was the type to abuse someone who was new. but nobody went anywhere without risks. without risks you couldn't live life to the fullest. "i take it you're a townie?" she asked, turning the tables on him as her hues turned to the surfboard to his side.
