In the Dharma Initiative Recruiting Project of 2008, unknown benefactors attempted to restart the Initiative but failed due to constrains by the 2008 financial crisis. The "Project" consisted of a series of tests that dealt with different areas of expertise. The tests measured various skills of recruits, and official Volunteer Assessment Dossiers were sent out to recruits on November 18th. The "Project" was unable to continue spending due to the financial crisis, and was sold. But to whom? No one really knows...
However, what the public do not know is that there is another island...THIS ISLAND! And the Dharma Initiative is once more conducting experiments, both sociological and scientific. The names of the stations are the same; the experiments that are conducted at each station are also the same; but the people are all different. There is no "Others" or "815 Survivors"; just the new Dharma Initiative group. It is now 2010; will this island come to the same fate?
The Island has been split into quarters camps - North, East, South and West - this is where the people live but they all work together; there are many things happening within these camps and all across the island...
